About the conference
The Italian Association of Canadian Studies is organising its next international conference at the University of Milan, with the support of the Department of Languages Literatures Cultures and Mediations (Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature, Culture e Mediazioni).
The conference will be held from 29 November to 1 December 2023 and will be dedicated to the theme The Cultures of Canada: Beyond the Past, Towards the Future.
Scholars interested in Canada are invited to ask themselves about the relationships between the different cultures that coexist in this country in order to highlight useful hints for fostering exchanges, dialogue and mutual understanding, and to reflect on what is instead a source of resistance and rejection of otherness.
